As a writer, it’s sometime hard to convey the perfect description without being overly detailed (which I tend to do). I want the reader to see exactly what I am picturing in my head when I’m writing. Generally speaking, feeding a reader with an onslaught of verbiage is considered a no-no, but it’s my writing style—and I don’t do it all the time.
So what can I say...
Anyway, I like to write, but I’m terrible at drawing. Unlike writers, who can express their imagination through words, artist can give people an exact glimpse of their vision. Therefore, with my attempt to dive into art, I drew a picture of the main character of my Symbol of Aura Series, Jason Sykes. I used the Funko-Pop style because it uses simple shapes for the head and minimal details for the face.

The two photos below are my template and the pencil drawings I used to scan into my computer. I plan to do more of the Symbol of Aura characters later that are based on the Funko-Pop style.
